The Leopard Football Club Of Owerri maintained there physical capacity in lifting the incoming Conifa African Championship, as they almost disgraced one of the formidable Club in Nigeria Professional league, Heartland FC of Owerri in their home @ Dan Anyiam National Stadium, Owerri
The Visitors which was underated by the Host (Heartland Boys) because they’re made up of Young Players of about 23 to 17years of age, started with confidence and dominated the ball throughout the first half.
The Leopard FC opened the net at about 15mins, when Chukwuemeka Davis converted a penalty kick to goal.
The Visitors Made it two when Nelson Okwudilichukwu Scored another one in 30mins. At this time, the host became jittering and started wondering on what is actually happening because they considered them as under 17.
The Heartland FC Scored with penalty to make it 2 – 1 before a midfielder Somadina Okpara rendered them hopeless in 40mins to make the scores 3 – 1 against the Heartland FC in their home.
The second half was a serious war as the visitors refuse to give the Heartland FC space to breath.
Penalty was latter awarded to Heartland FC, followed Red Card to Heartson Nelson and that was how the third goal was conceived.
The Total score is Heartland FC 3 – 3 Leopard.
The Leopard Football Club will today Battle Heartland Football Club of Owerri in Dan Anyiam Stadium, Owerri in a friendly match.
The Biafra Leopard will be playing their fourth friendly match with the Nigeria professional club after trashing Papilo FC 3 – 1 in their home.
Players to watch out for are Orafu Joseph (Peruzzi), Heartson Nelson, etc.
