Tension is brewing in Onitsha among  the members of Chief Ralph Uwazuruike- led  movement for actualization of sovereign state of Biafra  ( BIM-MASSOB) following the rumoured death of Mr. Ikechukwu Ajah, in police custody in Onitsha, Anambra- state.

Ikechukwu Ajah was arrested on sunday 21st March along Obodoukwu road, Nkutaku, Ogbaru LGA, for wearing a T-shirt with the inscription ‘ United States of Biafra’ and since then had been detained without trial at the area command’s headquarters, Onitsha .

According to the groups Chief welfare officer for Anambra North , Mr. Kenneth Aririka who briefed the press in a statement said Ikechukwu Ajah died of severe torture inflicted on him by the police while trying to force him to admit a membership of the proscribed indigenous people of Biafra’, IPOB.
Aririka said several attempts  made by his counsel and relatives of the detained BIM- MASOB member  at the central police station, CPS, Onitsha, with a view to securing his bail yielded no results.
” Policemen prevented us to  see our member who had being kept incommunicado since March 21.  We got to Area commander for Onitsha, Mr. John Obuagbuaka but he ignored our team who visited his office”

Reacting to the rumoured death of Mr. Ikechukwu Ajah in police Custody, Biafra’ director of information and senior special assistant to president of internal government, Elder Chris Mocha demanded for his immediate release if he was still alive.

Mocha said Ikechukwu Ajah is a member of the internationally recognized non – violent organization that is campaigning for Biafra through peaceful means and does not believe in violent agitation.
Mocha wondered why the police had chosen to torture Mr. Ikechukwu to death  even after it was clearly established to the commissioner of police that he belonged to Uwazuruike’s BIM-MASSOB

GOOD NEWS Get Your Biafra International Passport Now, Director Of Passport Orders Biafran Citizens

April 12, 2021

Chief Mmaduabuchi
Biafra International Passport

As the cries and agitations for break up of Nigeria from the ethnic groups in the country have taken a great and positive dimensions including with the recent force majeure on Nigeria 1999 constitution.

The 2nd administration of Biafra internal government leaders at their emergency meeting at Biafra seat of power, Owerri discussed intensively on the awareness of Biafra international passport and resolved that now is the best opportunity to make provisions for Biafrans to have access to Biafra international passport.

The Director of Biafra International Passport, Prof. (Chief) Maduabuchi K.S.N who addressed Biafra media reporters after the emergency meeting on 12th of April,  that the Biafra internal government has ordered Biafrans both home and diaspora to come for their international passport because it will be one of the most important forms of identification a Biafran can possess. It is important to have a passport if you plan to travel to a different country so that you will be able to prove who you are and where you are from. And Since travel security measures have increased in the whole world, it is almost impossible to travel without a passport.

Prof. (Chief) Maduabuchi K.S.N is a trained Business Administrator who majored in accountancy and business development said that the Biafra internal government based their decisions on the recent reports from the vice president of Nigeria, Osinbajo warning that Visa Will Be Needed To Kano If Nigeria Breaks Up.

Osinbajo said this while delivering his speech virtually at the 12th Bola Tinubu Colloquium in commemoration of Tinubu’s 69th birthday in Kano as he advised those calling for Nigeria to break up to have a rethink, adding that if Nigeria does break, they may need visas to travel to places like Kano.

And also the statement of father of Biafra nation, chief (Dr.) Ralph Uwazuruike when he hosted the leaders of Biafra De Facto Customary Government and the De Biafra Mobilizers Initiative at Biafra seat of power, Owerri.

Uwazuruike clearly told his guests that Biafra is now an independent nation saying that, I quote: “What we have not gotten is sovereignty but sooner or later, we shall be grateful to have our borders where foreigners will come to our borders, our security men will ask then where is your passport and when they bring it, our immigration officers will stamp it ‘welcome to Biafra ‘”.

Since foreigners will need  their passports to enter Biafra borders, so Biafrans will also need their passports to enter other countries borders which is used to verify one’s country of citizenship. For those that will be traveling outside Biafra country, it will be used to regain entry into Biafra country as a citizen, Prof. Maduabuchi said.

When queried by Biafra internal government national reporter, comrade Ijeomah Anthony on criteria how Biafrans can have access for the passports and locations for application of it; he said that the issuance of the Biafran International Passport is  open to all Biafrans, whoever wants or desires to obtain it.

On locations, We have our consulate office in Lagos: The Temple of peace, No 22, Ajijedidun St, Agunlejika St Ijeshatedo, LAGOS.  Those in Diaspora can reach our Diaspora representatives across the globe.

In Biafra land, any one who wishes to obtain  the passport  is free to reach out to our Zonal (State) and Regional Offices throughout Biafra Land. They should pay the required fee as may be applicable to him/her, obtain the application forms, fill them out and return same for issuance of the passport if found to be qualified after due investigations.

Finally, he added that the department is presently in the process of digitalising both the features of the passport itself and the process of its issuance  and applications.

Biafra minister for information

By Emmanuel Nnadi, Owerri

The Biafra Minister of Information, Chief Samuel Njoku have frowned at what he described as Injustice against the Christians Populace by the Federal Government of Nigeria.

Chief Njoku who wondered why it is  only during the Christian Celebrations that Nigeria State  hikes  the fuel pump price, noted that it is a calculated attempt by the federal government to frustrate christains Which are 85 per cent Biafrans  from traveling home for Easter celebration.

According to Mr. Njoku “Ndigbo have been pushed to the wall in so many occasions and that’s why we have resolved to be on our own.

“Federal government of Nigeria led by Rtd Gen. Muhammadu Buhari is trying to instigate Crisis and unstable society so as to thwart the effort by Biafran Leaders to actualise the sovereign state of Biafra without a gun shot”.

The Biafran Minister reasoned that if it was during the regime of former president Goodluck Jonathan, many people would have been sponsored to hit the streets in protest But wondered why no one have protested.

Njoku who was the Chief Minister of Owerri State before his appointment as the minister for Information, noted that Buhari led Federal Government  are treating Christians as second class citizen but maintained that Biafra will never give up in their pursuit for political and economical independence from Nigeria; stressing that Biafra Sovereignty will correct all the abnormalities, injustice and ill treatment by Nigeria State.

The minister lambasted the Leader of Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Mazi Nnamdi Kanu over his constant insult and abuse against  prominent Igbo leaders especially those who  tries to correct or direct him, including Chief Ralph Uwazuruike, Chief Nnia Nwodo, and many others.

He also told Kanu to heed to the advice of prominent Igbo leaders and stop inciting young youths for Violence against other tribe.

Chief Njoku discribed Nnamdi Kanu as the Judas of Biafra who betrayed his master but urged him to have a rethink and come back to his Master because his master will always forgive and work with him.
